Ken Gifford is
President of Gifford Construction and has worked in the construction
industry since 1963. Ken
has been a licensed general contractor since 1972. He has “hands
on” experience in all building trades and phases of construction. Ken
will be available to provide value engineering and constructability
analysis and will assume overall responsibility for the construction
of the project. Ken is an active member of the community volunteering
his services to numerous boards and civic organizations. Ken’s
efforts have been recognized in a variety of awards including Redding
Businessman of the Year, Construction Industry Citizen of the Year
and the Chamber of Commerce Covington Award.
Brent Day is
Senior Vice President of Gifford Construction. Brent has worked in the construction industry
since 1978 and has been with Gifford Construction since 1985. He
is a graduate of California State University – Chico and is
a licensed general contractor. Brent has over 25 years of experience
in estimating, value engineering, constructability analysis, contract
negotiation and project management.
Rob Barr is
Vice President of Gifford Construction. Rob has worked
in the construction industry since 1985 and has been with Gifford
Construction since 1998. He
is a graduate of the construction management program of California
State University – Chico and is a licensed general contractor. Rob
has over 20 years experience as a carpenter, estimator, project engineer,
project superintendent and project manager on civil, highway and
commercial projects. Rob manages all aspects of commercial
and industrial projects for Gifford Construction.
Rick Reiser is
the Treasurer of Gifford Construction. He has been with the
company since 1994. Rick
is an attorney and an accountant. He graduated from The University
of California – Berkeley and Hastings College of the Law. He
is responsible for contractual relationships with owners and subcontractors. He
is also in charge of the accounting and insurance functions of the
company. Rick has been successful in mediating and resolving
disputes and avoiding litigation.
Skip Barker is
a Project Manager / Superintendent for Gifford Construction. Skip
has worked for Gifford Construction since 1977 and is a licensed
general contractor. Skip’s most recent projects, the Shasta
County Administration Building and Turtle Bay Museum, have been widely
praised by the community. |
